Construction Sales Representative

Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within the construction sector, focusing on B2B (business-to-business) sales channels. Manage territory accounts effectively by maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and partners to foster loyalty and repeat business. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase solutions that meet customer requirements while highlighting value propositions. Generate leads through cold calling, networking events, marketing campaigns, and leveraging CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software such as Salesforce for tracking prospects and managing sales pipelines. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for brand positioning and market expansion within designated territories. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and upselling additional products or services to enhance account value. Requirements Proven experience in outside sales or technical sales within the construction or related industries; familiarity with management or business development roles is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of B2B sales processes, territory management, lead generation techniques, and account management strategies. Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer interactions and sales data. Excellent negotiation skills combined with outstanding communication abilities to build rapport with clients at all levels. Demonstrated ability to conduct product demos effectively and perform detailed analysis of customer needs to recommend suitable solutions. Experience in cold calling, inside sales, retail sales or territory sales is advantageous for success in this role. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining a high level of customer service.
