Job Description

Distribution Sales Consultant iBeAuthentic LLC is a progressive marketing agency serving the professional beauty industry. Currently, we are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Distribution Sales Consultant (DSC) to join our team! This role goes beyond traditional sales—acting as a trusted partner to our clients, helping them grow through strategic planning, product education, and personalized support. The DSC is responsible for both maintaining existing accounts and developing new business opportunities, while also supporting in-store operations to deliver a seamless customer experience. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about driving results through both inside and outside sales efforts.
The successful candidate will:
Possess a high school diploma; 2-3 years of experience in sales, retail, or account management required Have experience in the professional beauty industry (strongly preferred) Hold a valid driver's license and maintain proof of insurance Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills across phone, email, text, and in-person interactions Be highly organized with excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently Be comfortable with consistent outreach including calls, texts, emails, and in-person visits Have experience or willingness to learn CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools Be adaptable in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while managing multiple priorities Think both creatively and strategically to identify opportunities and solve problems In this role, you will: Grow and manage a territory by building strong relationships with existing and new salon partners Identify and convert new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, and in-person visits Provide consultative support including business planning, product education, promotions, and marketing recommendations Act as the main point of contact for customer needs, including service, shipping, and billing support Monitor inventory and backorders to ensure a smooth customer experience Stay up to date on industry trends, brands, and competitor activity Attend trade shows and education events to build relationships and expand your network Support in-store operations including customer service, POS transactions, merchandising, and daily tasks Deliver an exceptional customer experience through personalized recommendations and strong product knowledge In addition to the above, this position requires a passion for sales, a commitment to building long-term client relationships, and an appreciation for the beauty industry and the professionals within it. iBeAuthentic /The Style Garage values its team and offers a comprehensive benefits package including a healthy work-life balance, paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and a supportive, team-oriented environment. iBeFun. iBeCollaborative. iBeProud. iBeAuthentic.
