Job Description

Fertilizer Sales Advisor - Remote GPAC has partnered with a well-established California-based agricultural fertility company that is under new leadership and experiencing exciting growth throughout California. With a strong focus on company culture, work-life balance, professional development, and promoting from within , this organization is committed to building a team where motivated professionals can grow their careers and make a meaningful impact. They are currently seeking several highly motivated, customer-focused, and experienced Fertilizer Sales Advisors to join their expanding team.
Fertilizer Sales Advisor Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate, build, and maintain positive long-term relationships with farmers and growers to create and promote repeat business. Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through cold calls, networking and research. Attend and promote products at trade shows and conferences. Make fertilizer and fertility recommendations to growers and farmers. Develop and execute sales plans to meet territory goals. Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions. Forecast supply requirements. Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently. Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Fertilizer Sales Advisor Key Qualifications:
3+ years' experience in fertility agronomic sales. Current book of business is preferred. A bachelor's degree in an agricultural related field is preferred. Current CCA certificate. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven leadership, decision-making, and communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory and prioritize tasks. Ability to work independently and with a team. Strong agronomic knowledge of fertilizer formulations and a passion for working directly with growers. Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills. Must currently reside in California and have a valid U.S. driver's license.
