Job Description

BMR Health Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Healthcare Sales & Business Development Representative with a minimum of 2+ years of healthcare sales experience and hands-on experience with Certificates of Insurance (COI), professional liability insurance, and contract insurance requirements . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare staffing and school-based services, along with the ability to develop new business, manage client relationships, and navigate the insurance and contracting requirements associated with healthcare service agreements. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development Develop and execute strategies to generate new business for BMR Health Services. Identify and establish relationships with school districts, educational organizations, healthcare organizations, and other potential clients . Prospect through phone calls, email, networking, LinkedIn, in-person visits, conferences, and other business development activities. Develop relationships with Superintendents, Special Education Directors, HR Directors, Business Services, Risk Management, and other district decision-makers. Present BMR's staffing and healthcare service solutions to prospective clients. Manage the sales cycle from initial prospecting through proposal, contract negotiation, execution, and onboarding. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and consistently follow up with prospective clients. Identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients. Meet established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives. COI & Insurance Responsibilities Work directly with insurance brokers and internal teams to obtain and maintain Certificates of Insurance (COIs) . Review client and school district insurance requirements and identify any gaps or special requirements.
Coordinate requests for:
General Liability Professional Liability / Malpractice Workers' Compensation Automobile Liability Abuse and Molestation coverage Umbrella/Excess Liability Understand Additional Insured requirements and ensure the appropriate entities are added to the COI when required. Review COIs for accuracy, including policy limits, effective dates, policy numbers, and coverage descriptions. Coordinate with insurance brokers when a district requires specific endorsements or higher limits. Track COI requests and ensure documentation is provided to clients in a timely manner. Maintain organized records of insurance certificates and related documentation. Communicate with school districts regarding insurance compliance and resolve documentation issues. Work closely with contracts and operations teams to ensure insurance requirements are satisfied before services begin. Contracting & Client Management Review Master Service Agreements, NPAs, ISAs, and other client agreements from a business-development perspective. Coordinate with internal management and legal counsel regarding contract terms and requirements. Identify potential financial, insurance, operational, and compliance concerns in client agreements. Assist with rate negotiations and ensure proposed rates support BMR's operational and staffing costs. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for additional services. Ensure smooth transition from signed contract to operational implementation. Required Qualifications 2+ years of healthcare sales, staffing sales, or business development experience. Hands-on experience working with COIs and healthcare insurance requirements . Practical understanding of General Liability, Professional Liability, Workers' Compensation, and related coverage. Experience working with school districts, healthcare organizations, hospitals, clinics, staffing agencies, or other institutional clients preferred. Demonstrated ability to generate new business and close sales. Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing insurance and contract requirements. Ability to communicate effectively with insurance brokers, clients, district administrators, and internal teams. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and business communication platforms. Ability to work independently and manage multiple sales opportunities and client requirements simultaneously. Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are strongly preferred: Healthcare staffing School-based therapy staffing NPA agency services Special education services SLP, OT, PT, or school psychology staffing Medical staffing Healthcare business development School district contracting Insurance/COI compliance Risk management Vendor credentialing Contract negotiation Key Performance Expectations The successful candidate will be expected to: Generate and qualify new business opportunities. Establish relationships with new school districts and healthcare organizations. Secure new contracts and expand BMR's client base. Meet established sales and revenue targets. Maintain a consistent and measurable sales pipeline. Manage COI and insurance requirements accurately and efficiently. Support contract negotiations and client onboarding. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Identify opportunities for expanding BMR's services within existing accounts. Compensation Competitive salary + performance-based commission/bonus , based on experience and qualifications. $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
