Job Description

Job Summary Hood Mechanical (an Odyssey Mechanical company) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Comfort Advisor to join our sales team. This role involves engaging with customers to provide tailored comfort solutions, managing the sales process from initial contact to closing, and building long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales , business development , and customer service (in the HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical trades), with a passion for helping clients improve their home or business environments through innovative products and services. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within a fast-paced, customer-focused organization. This position is a Base + Commissions role. Duties Conduct B2B sales and inside sales activities, including warm calling and lead generation to identify potential clients. Manage territory management by developing strategies to expand market presence and increase sales opportunities. Present product demos and technical solutions to clients, showcasing features and benefits tailored to their needs. Engage in negotiation and upselling techniques to maximize sales while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through effective account management and ongoing communication. Collaborate with marketing teams to implement strategies that enhance brand awareness and generate new business opportunities. Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs, offering expert advice, and ensuring a seamless sales experience. Skills Proven experience in outside sales , business development , or related fields such as management , marketing , or technology sales . Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport with clients. Ability to conduct compelling product demos and explain technical features clearly. Experience in territory management , lead generation , and developing strategic plans for market expansion. Demonstrated success in prospecting and converting leads into customers. Strong analytical skills for assessing market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about sales, thrive on building relationships, and are eager to contribute to the growth of our organization through innovative solutions and exceptional service delivery.
