Job Description
We install high-end floor coatings for garages, basements, patios, and commercial spaces. Our marketing team books the appointments — you show up, walk the homeowner through their options, and close. Between appointments you work independently, following up on your quotes and past customers. What the job actually looks like: Meet homeowners in their space, measure the area, and design a coating solution that fits how they use it and what they want it to look like Build the quote on the spot and present it consultatively — features, benefits, and honest answers to objections Follow up on open quotes and check in with past customers; referrals are a big part of how our best reps make their number Spend some time with our install crews early on so you understand the product, the prep work, and what a good job looks like — customers can tell when you know what you're talking about Keep your pipeline organized in our CRM; you own the customer from first appointment through install day Keys to Success in this role: You can overcome objections. This is a high-end home improvement project. The reps who win lead with features and benefits, ask good questions, and use a consultative approach. You follow through. Complete customer satisfaction isn't a nice-to-have — it's where referrals come from, and that's the difference between meeting and exceeding your goals. You're deadline-focused, organized, and results-driven. You'll juggle open quotes, scheduled installs, and follow-ups at once. People who keep a clean pipeline thrive here; people who wing it don't. You can guide a client through design and pricing. Walking a homeowner through color, flake, and finish options and putting a price together on the spot needs to feel natural to you. We'll teach you the product; you bring the ability to make it simple. You're productive on your own time. When you're not in a home or with a crew, you'll work from home following up on appointments, doing some cold calling to generate additional leads, and handling customer service for your clients. Who does well here People who've sold successfully in the home before — flooring, windows, roofing, remodeling, etc. If you've closed one-call in-home appointments, you'll feel at home. People from hospitality, restaurants, or hotels who are great with customers and are ready for a job with better hours and real upside. We'll train you on the product and the process. Organized, self-directed, and comfortable being measured on results. You need a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle (mileage and fuel are reimbursed). About us Polytek Concrete Coatings is a supportive and innovative family owned business and our goal is to create and maintain a successful home-improvement sales culture where everyone is excited for the day to start and ready to close deals.
