Job Description

Inside Sales Representative / Appointment Setter One Day Doors & Closets of the Bay Area — Santa Clara, CA. Base Pay + Uncapped Commission | Full-Time | High-Earning Opportunity One Day Doors & Closets of the Bay Area is looking for an exceptional Inside Sales Representative / Appointment Setter to become the engine behind our sales team. This is not a receptionist position and it is not simply answering phones and putting appointments on a calendar. We are looking for a talented, persuasive, highly organized phone professional who knows how to connect with homeowners, create urgency, overcome objections, and turn incoming leads into qualified in-home appointments for our sales team.

Your scoreboard is simple:

a full calendar, qualified appointments, and sales reps spending their time in front of homeowners. What You'll Do You will own the front end of our sales process from the moment a new lead comes in until a qualified appointment is sitting on a salesperson's calendar.

Your responsibilities will include:

Respond quickly to new inbound leads by phone, text, and email Answer incoming sales calls and convert inquiries into appointments Follow up aggressively and professionally with leads who don't schedule on the first contact Build rapport quickly and confidently over the phone Ask the right questions to understand the homeowner's project, needs, timeline, and decision-making process Overcome common scheduling objections without being pushy or robotic Schedule qualified in-home consultations with all homeowners/decision-makers present whenever applicable Confirm appointments and reduce cancellations and no-shows Maintain a consistent follow-up pipeline for unscheduled leads Keep our sales calendar operating as close to 100% capacity as possible Coordinate appointments intelligently so sales representatives are routed efficiently and aren't unnecessarily driving back and forth across the Bay Area Balance lead availability, geography, salesperson availability, and calendar capacity Learn and become highly proficient in our CRM and scheduling systems Maintain accurate notes, lead statuses, follow-up dates, and appointment information Track your personal KPIs, including contact rate, appointment-set rate, qualified appointment rate, confirmation rate, and sales generated from your appointments Work closely with sales management to identify open calendar capacity and fill it quickly Re-engage older leads and opportunities when the current calendar needs additional appointments Who We're Looking For We want someone who is exceptionally good on the phone . You should be comfortable speaking with dozens of homeowners every day and understand that hearing "no," "I need to talk to my spouse," or "I'll call you back" is often the beginning of the conversation—not the end of it.

The ideal candidate is:

Persuasive, confident, personable, and professional Competitive and motivated by performance and money Excellent at building rapport quickly Comfortable asking direct questions Skilled at overcoming objections Persistent without being aggressive Extremely organized Fast and accurate with CRM systems and technology Able to manage a busy calendar with multiple sales representatives Comfortable being measured against clear performance goals Able to think strategically about geography, drive time, availability, and scheduling efficiency Someone who takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do Previous inside sales, appointment-setting, call center, home improvement, automotive, real estate, insurance, or other high-ticket sales experience is highly desirable. What Success Looks Like You will play a major role in how much our sales team—and our company—produces. A great person in this position doesn't just "schedule appointments." They make sure valuable leads don't fall through the cracks. They know which prospects need another call. They know which salesperson has an opening tomorrow. They know when an appointment can be moved to create a better route. They know how to turn a hesitant homeowner into a qualified appointment. And when there's an open spot on the sales calendar, they attack the lead list until it's filled. Compensation We want top performers to be rewarded like top performers.

This position offers:

Competitive Base Pay + Uncapped Performance-Based Commission Your commission opportunity will be tied directly to the results you create, including qualified appointments and/or sales generated from the appointments you schedule. The better you perform, the more you earn. There is no reason an exceptional performer should be limited to an average hourly paycheck. We want someone who is motivated by the opportunity to significantly increase their income by becoming great at this position. About One Day Doors & Closets One Day Doors & Closets of the Bay Area specializes in transforming homes with professionally measured, painted, and installed interior and exterior doors. Our process allows homeowners to replace the doors throughout their home without the mess and disruption of traditional door replacement. We have a growing sales organization and are building the systems and team necessary to continue expanding throughout the Bay Area. This position will be at the center of that growth. Why This Position Matters Our leads are extremely valuable. When someone contacts us, they've raised their hand and expressed interest in improving their home. Your responsibility is to make sure we capitalize on that opportunity. You'll have a direct impact on the schedules and incomes of multiple sales representatives—and on the overall growth of the company. If you are competitive, great on the phone, love talking to people, enjoy turning conversations into appointments, and want a position where your performance can directly increase your paycheck , we want to talk to you. Apply with your resume and tell us why you believe you'd be exceptional at turning incoming homeowners into qualified appointments.
