Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative - Korean Speaker delivers friendly, efficient customer service, order processing, and delivery support to Gordon Food Service customers across phone, email, and digital channels. This role leverages fluent Korean and English skills to strengthen customer relationships through deep product knowledge, delivery coordination, order accuracy, and issue resolution, while actively promoting and supporting E-Commerce tools.
What you will do:
Answers customer questions, investigates and corrects errors to solve customer problems. Manages customer orders (both stock and nonstock) manually, or via EDI, 3rd party ordering systems, and completes timely callbacks/e-mails to discuss edits and confirm complete orders. Arranges exception deliveries in collaboration with the Transportation department, UPS, and/or 3rd party delivery services. Participates in the training of new Chain Accounts Representatives and attends ongoing training sessions. Establishes rapport and working relationship with National Account Coordinator, National Account Manager, National Account Pricing Analyst , Customer Supply Chain Specialist, Supply Chain Sales Support Analyst, Credit Managers, Regional Chain Managers, Regional Account Coordinators and Call Center teams. Maintains peer relationships in the field to share issues and ideas. Understands and communicates effective supply chain strategies in collaboration with core teams across all GFS distribution centers, transportation departments, as well as National Account and divisional logistics. Performs other duties as required.
When you will work:
Rotating schedule between Sunday - Thursday and Monday - Friday. Hours 7:30AM-4:30PM or 8AM-5PM.
Hybrid Work Schedule:
4 days in office, 1 day from home. What you'll bring to the table: Native or professional fluency in both Korean and English (written and verbal) required to support bilingual customer accounts. Two years of full-time related work experience and a High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. Understanding of Foodservice industry operations (Commercial and Non-Commercial segments), USDA dietary regulations, and commodities. Ability to develop working knowledge of all U.S. Gordon Food Service distribution center operations, transportation departments, routing profiles, order types, and cutoff times. Ability to learn proprietary GFS applications (Product Acquisition, Credit, Customer Acquisition, Invoice Retrieval) and adapt to frequent technological updates; proficiency in 10-key data entry. Strong customer service, time management, multi-tasking, 10-key data entry, detail orientation, and strategic problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
