We're looking for an experienced Closet Designer / Design Consultant to join our growing team and help homeowners transform their spaces into beautiful, functional, custom storage solutions. This is more than a design position — it's a design + sales role . You'll meet with homeowners in their homes, understand their needs, create customized closet solutions, and confidently guide them from the initial consultation through the sale and installation process. What We Offer $65,000 - $130,000+ earning potential Paid training with a fixed base during the initial 2-month training period 100% commission-based compensation after training Pre-qualified company leads provided Flexible scheduling designed around 4 full workdays per week Opportunity to earn six figures while maintaining schedule flexibility Comprehensive onboarding and training on company design systems and workflow Fast-growing, family-owned Tampa company Strong opportunity for long-term growth and advancement What You'll Do Conduct in-home consultations with prospective clients Assess clients' storage needs, preferences, budget, and available space Design customized closets and storage solutions that are both attractive and functional Create layouts and 3D designs using digital design software Present design concepts and product options to homeowners Build strong relationships and establish trust with clients Handle questions, objections, and concerns professionally Guide clients through the decision-making process Close sales and meet individual revenue goals Maintain accurate project details and customer information Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation Provide a professional, high-end customer experience from consultation through completion Who We're Looking For We're seeking a relationship-driven designer and proven sales professional who can combine creativity with strong closing skills.

The ideal candidate:

Has proven in-home sales experience Has a successful track record of closing sales Has experience working with homeowners and residential clients Is comfortable working with cold or unfamiliar leads Has a strong sales mentality and takes ownership of results Is personable, confident, and comfortable leading client conversations Can quickly establish rapport and build trust Remains calm and professional when working with demanding clients Understands the expectations of high-end and luxury clientele Is self-motivated, competitive, organized, and accountable Is comfortable with a commission-only compensation structure after training Lives in Pasco, Hillsborough, or Pinellas County, FL Has reliable transportation for in-home consultations Preferred Backgrounds Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply: Custom closet design Cabinetry design Interior design Space planning Home remodeling or home improvement Luxury home services High-end furniture or home furnishings Kitchen and bath design Millwork Residential design sales Hospitality or other luxury-service industries Skills & Qualifications Prior in-home sales experience required Closet, cabinetry, or home organization experience strongly preferred CAD or 3D design experience preferred Experience with ClosetPro, AutoCAD, SketchUp , or similar design platforms is a plus Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness Ability to create functional and visually appealing layouts Strong presentation and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple client projects and appointments Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compensation Structure The first 2 months include comprehensive, paid training with a fixed base. After successfully completing training, the position transitions to a 100% commission-based compensation structure , providing significant earning potential for high-performing designers.
