Embark is growing and seeking an Outside Sales Representative - Solutions Consultant to join its team in Des Moines, IA. This is a full-time field-based role with a hybrid work environment and local travel. In this role, you'll drive revenue through consultative, solutions-based selling of outsourced IT services and audiovisual collaboration solutions. You will build long-term customer relationships by understanding business and technology challenges, designing integrated solutions, and closing complex opportunities as a trusted advisor. Job Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strategic relationships with executive, IT, facilities, and operations stakeholders through consultative discovery and ongoing engagement Identify customer business, collaboration, and technology needs, positioning outsourced IT services and audiovisual solutions as scalable, outcome-driven solutions Develop value-based proposals that clearly articulate business impact, ROI, and long-term scalability Manage the full sales cycle, including on-site assessments, solution design, proposal development, negotiation, and contract close Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, project management, and service teams while maintaining accurate CRM pipeline, forecasting, and activity trackingRequirements:
High school diploma 3+ years of B2B solution sales experience - technology, IT services, AV, or related fields Comfortable engaging C-level and technical stakeholders Experience working with CRM and Microsoft 365 tools For more than 20 years, Embark has delivered innovative, client-focused solutions as a trusted, family-owned business.
