This position is focused on building relationships with contractors, builders, apartment owners, multifamily developers, spec home builders, remodelers, and property managers who need reliable window and door supply. The right person will be comfortable prospecting, creating new accounts, following up consistently, and building long-term repeat business. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants the freedom to manage their own territory, develop contractor relationships, and earn a high commission package with strong growth potential. Position Overview The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business and managing customer accounts for supply-only and direct ship window and door projects. This includes finding new contractor accounts, reviewing plans or project needs, quoting products, coordinating with our internal team, and helping customers get the right windows and doors ordered and delivered. This role is best suited for someone who is motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently without needing to be micromanaged. Responsibilities Prospect and develop new contractor, builder, multifamily, and property management accounts Build relationships with remodelers, builders, apartment owners, and spec home developers Sell supply-only and direct ship window and door packages Review project plans, window schedules, measurements, and product needs Work with internal estimating/support staff to prepare accurate quotes Follow up on bids and help close projects Maintain relationships with repeat contractor customers Coordinate product orders, delivery expectations, and project timelines Represent Puget Sound Window & Door professionally in the field Manage your own schedule, pipeline, and sales activity Identify new opportunities in the local construction and remodeling market Target Customers General contractors Remodelers Custom home builders Spec home builders Apartment owners Multifamily developers Property managers Real estate investors Small builders and construction companies What We Provide Strong local company reputation Established window and door vendor relationships Support with quoting, ordering, and product information Competitive product lines for residential and multifamily projects High commission opportunity Flexible, self-directed work environment Opportunity to build a long-term book of repeat business Support from an experienced window and door team Ideal Candidate Experience in outside sales, contractor sales, building materials, windows, doors, construction, or remodeling preferred Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills Comfortable calling on contractors, builders, and property managers Self-motivated and able to work independently Organized and consistent with follow-up Able to understand basic construction plans, measurements, and product details Professional communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compensation This position offers a high commission-based compensation package with strong earning potential.
