- Website Design & SEO Wired Byte IT Solutions Remote / Work From Home + Outside Sales DFW Area Welcome — Not Required Wired Byte IT Solutions is looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to help businesses improve their online presence through professional website design, website management, hosting, SEO, and related services.
We're a small, locally owned company with 20+ years of experience in IT and web services. We understand both outside sales and working remotely, and we're looking for someone who wants the freedom to manage their own day while building real relationships with business owners. This is a commission-based sales position with uncapped earning potential . What You'll Do Prospect for new business through warm calls, networking, referrals, local business outreach, and other sales methods Contact business owners and identify opportunities for website design, redesign, SEO, hosting, and related services Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers Conduct needs assessments and explain solutions in a way that makes sense to the customer Prepare and present proposals Follow up with prospects and manage your sales pipeline Close new business and help transition customers into our services Maintain communication with your clients and help with ongoing needs and opportunities Use our CRM and other sales tools to track leads, contacts, opportunities, and follow-ups Work with our internal team to help ensure a smooth customer onboarding process How You Work Is Up to You This is an outside sales position with a remote/WFH component , and we give you the freedom to decide how you find business. Want to work from home and spend the day making calls? Go for it. Want to get out into your local market, meet business owners, and develop relationships face-to-face? Absolutely. Want to combine both? That's probably the best approach. We believe a warm introduction is better than a completely cold door knock , so contacting a business owner first and then stopping by can be an excellent way to build relationships. If you do conduct in-person prospecting, you are expected to follow all applicable laws, property rules, and local solicitation requirements. We do not support or endorse solicitation where it is prohibited or requires a permit. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Comfortable talking with business owners Confident making outbound calls Motivated by commission and results Comfortable asking for the sale Persistent and good at following up Self-motivated and able to work independently Professional, personable, and easy to talk to Comfortable learning technology and explaining it in simple terms Interested in building long-term customer relationships Willing to prospect rather than relying entirely on provided leads Outside sales experience is preferred. Experience selling websites, SEO, technology, software, telecommunications, IT, or other business services is a plus. CRM experience is helpful, but we can teach our systems to the right person. You don't need to know how to build a website or perform SEO. However, being comfortable with internet and technology terminology — domains, hosting, websites, SEO, email, Google, etc. — will definitely help. No college degree required. What You Need Reliable cell phone Reliable high-speed internet Computer suitable for normal business use Ability to communicate professionally by phone, email, and video Self-discipline and the ability to manage your own schedule Cable, fiber, Starlink — we don't care what you use. As long as it works and works reliably. Schedule Typical business hours are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM , Monday through Friday. There are no rigid preset hours where you have to sit at a desk and watch the clock. This can easily become a full-time position, and you're responsible for managing your time and sales activity.
