Sales & Business Development Associate (Startup CFO & Accounting Services)
Location:

The Role:
Sales & Business Development Associate We're hiring a high-energy, relationship-driven Sales & Business Development Associate to help us scale Rooled's reach and impact. You'll work directly with the with firm leadership to identify opportunities, nurture inbound and referral leads, and build meaningful connections with founders, VCs, and startup partners. This role is perfect for someone who loves startups, knows how to build trust quickly, and wants to grow in a high-impact, fast-moving firm. Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect, qualify, and follow up with startup leads (warm referrals, inbound, LinkedIn, and events)
  • Conduct intro calls and discovery to understand startup financial needs
  • Work closely with CFOs and firm leadership to match prospects with the right services
  • Maintain CRM (HubSpot) and ensure clear pipeline reporting
  • Attend startup events, demo days, and ecosystem meetups (live or virtual)
  • Build and maintain relationships with VCs, accelerators, and partners
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns, email outreach, and client onboarding Who You Are
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or founder-facing roles
  • Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem, fundraising, and financial pain points
  • Confident communicator who builds rapport quickly and follows up consistently
  • Organized, metrics-driven, and comfortable managing a sales pipeline
  • Familiar with tools like HubSpot, Streak, Apollo, or CRM equivalents
