Job Description:
Addison Group is hiring a Sales and Marketing Support Specialist for our client to support sales operations, marketing campaigns, and trade show initiatives. This entry-level, contract-to-hire role will work closely with a small sales and marketing team, assisting with customer-facing activities, campaign execution, and administrative coordination. The position offers strong exposure to cross-functional teams and the opportunity to grow with the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of domestic trade shows and events Support marketing campaigns, including email outreach, digital promotions, and event-related initiatives Provide administrative and operational support to Sales, Marketing, and Product teams Distribute and organize marketing and advertising materials for the sales team Maintain customer data and activity updates within CRM and internal systems Collaborate with sales leadership and team members on reporting and ongoing initiatives Learn and utilize internal tools and software platforms to support daily operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience 2 years of experience in sales support, marketing support, or an administrative role Prior exposure to trade shows, events, or B2B marketing activities preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) Professional communication skills with a customer-focused approach
Additional Details:
Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5pm with a one-hour lunch Hybrid work environment (Hybrid•3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Occasional domestic travel required, including major trade shows Small sales team environment with direct interaction with leadership Interview process includes an initial HR screen followed by a hiring manager interview Target start date: ASAP, ideally by the end of
