Sales Consultant/Representative - Physical Security Industry, Audio Video, Data Comm

Badger Reps is a growing manufacturer's representative firm serving the electronic security, audio/video, and data communications markets. We are seeking an Outside Sales Consultant / Representative to support our Southern California territory , including San Bernardino County, Orange County, and San Diego County . This is a great opportunity for a motivated, relationship-driven professional who enjoys technology, customer interaction, and field sales. Candidates must already reside in Southern California and be willing to travel regularly throughout the territory. What You'll Do Build and grow relationships with integrators, dealers, consultants, and end users Increase market penetration across all represented product lines Present, demonstrate, and promote products and solutions to customers Educate and train customers on products, features, and applications Support customers with product questions, quote development, project design assistance, and job walks Develop territory and channel strategies that support long-term growth Maintain CRM activity and provide regular communication to sales leadership and inside support teams Attend trade shows, customer events, and occasional remote events Make daily sales calls and jobsite visits throughout the territory What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of sales experience or related customer-facing experience in the security industry Minimum 2 years of experience in the physical security industry Minimum 2 years of experience with computer networking systems Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently while also collaborating with internal teams Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM reporting High school diploma or equivalent required College degree is a plus Military experience, electrical engineering background, or networking experience is a plus Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Must be willing to travel locally up to 60% Relocation assistance is not provided About Badger Reps Badger Reps is an established technology manufacturer's representative organization expanding its market coverage throughout the region.
