About the Role Momentum Solar is seeking motivated, resilient Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join our remote Inside Sales team. As an SDR, you will make outbound calls to residential homeowners to generate interest in solar energy and schedule qualified appointments for Momentum Solar's field representatives. This is a high volume, cold prospecting role not an inbound customer service position. You will spend the majority of your workday at a computer wearing a headset, speaking with homeowners who may not be expecting your call. Success requires persistence, emotional resilience, coachability, professionalism, and the ability to remain productive. What You'll Do Make high volume outbound calls to residential homeowners. Introduce Momentum Solar and create interest in a solar consultation. Identify the homeowner's electric provider and approximate monthly electric bill. Follow Momentum's approved sales process and script. Ask qualifying questions and identify homeowner needs or concerns. Schedule qualified appointments for field Solar Consultants. Prioritize same day and next day appointments when appropriate. Verify homeowner contact and property information. Accurately document customer information and call outcomes in company systems. Participate in call reviews, coaching, role play, QA evaluations, and ongoing sales development. What We're Looking For You may be a strong fit if you: Are comfortable making cold outbound calls. Can handle frequent rejection without losing momentum. Communicate confidently and establish rapport quickly. Are competitive and motivated by measurable goals. Accept coaching and apply feedback. Can follow a structured sales process while sounding conversational. Are comfortable working in a performance driven environment. Can remain focused at a computer and headset for most of an eight-hour workday. Have reliable attendance and professional communication. Maintain a quiet, distraction free remote workspace. Have outbound sales, telemarketing, lead-generation, or appointment-setting experience; prior sales experience is strongly preferred.
