If you are passionate about security and acquiring new business, this is a great opportunity! Essential Job Functions Conduct security assessments and audits for clients to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and security needs. Develop customized security solutions and recommendations based on assessment findings. Collaborate with clients to implement security measures, which may include physical security, electronic surveillance, access control systems, and security policies and procedures. Provide expertise and guidance on security best practices and industry standards. Conduct security training sessions for clients' staff members as needed. Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the security industry. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) These duties ensure that the Security Sales Consultant maintains high service levels and aligns with the physical security company's mission to protect and serve clients effectively across a national landscape. Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients at all levels. Ability to travel (with own transportation) to client sites within the greater Washington DC area and occasionally beyond. Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed. Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications Bachelor's degree required - related field (e.g., criminal justice, security management) preferred 3+ years of experience in security consulting, risk assessment, or a related field. Successful completion of a criminal background test, drug test, and clean driving record is required.
