Job Description
Join the Hunt's Photo Sales Team! Hunt's Photo and Video is looking for that exceptional individual who has strong interpersonal skills, is constantly upbeat, enjoys working with the public, and is passionate about photography. The sales position is at our store located at 66 Branch Ave Providence. Scheduled availability for a full-time position should include day, evening and weekend availability. A full-time schedule consists of 5 work days with 2 days off/averaging 35-40 hours per week. Compensation is an hourly base rate plus uncapped commissions. Anticipated average hourly earnings range from $20-27/hr. The primary job responsibility would be selling cameras and digital imaging products including video camcorders and related video equipment to the general public. Other responsibilities include troubleshooting technical based issues for customers. Interested applicants should have a strong background in video as well as digital photography. Expertise in video, lighting, and audio preferred. Prior work experience n a retail and/or commission sales experience a Plus! B.A/B.S. or B.F.A Degree in Photography, Communications, Film and Television or Certificate of Study in Photography from a Photography/Art School, greatly desired.
