Job Description

We are looking for a cool, social, confident individual, who doesn't mind approaching and talking to people! You will be handing out flyers and making connections with boat owners, boat repair contractors, yacht brokers, and marine industry workers! You will be driving to various marinas, boatyards, boat ramps, and more to hand out flyers, and collect boat owners information and following up with them later!
YOU WILL NEED RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
- We can pay you a rate per mile, or we can pay you drive time at an hourly rate to drive to and from marinas, boatyards, boat repair facilities, yacht brokerages, boat ramps, and dry stacks. We will discuss this later! Knowledge of boats and yachts is preferred!! We work with any and all boats including motor yachts, sailing yachts, center consoles, catamarans, sport fishing yachts, bay boats, luxury yachts, and more. This is a really cool opportunity to be around some awesome boats in Charleston and make some great connections!

Bonus opportunities Commission pay Application Question(s): How comfortable are you approaching strangers and asking them about their boat and asking them if they would need any of our services? Do you have reliable transportation to drive to and from the marinas and boatyards? I will discuss this again because it is very important. Are you a motivated self starter? You would be dealing with rejection, putting yourself out there and talking to strangers at a marina. Are you comfortable going to marinas on a Saturday or Sunday and approaching people on their boat and asking them if they need any of our services? This is a very direct way that we have gotten business over the years. How comfortable are you cold calling strangers on the phone? You will be on the phone calling prospects and making connections, A LOT. If you are shy cold calling, this is not for you!
