This store is located in the fastest growing sector of the region. We are currently looking to add (1-2) motivated employee(s) to our Parts and Sales Department at Mid Eastern Chrome Stop in Gaston, SC. This Position is full time 35-42 hours/week. Monday-Saturday. This is not a temporary position, and candidates should be seeking long-term employment. Mid Eastern is a Big Rig Parts and Accessories store with two SC Interstate locations, an ever-growing Online Store, and warehouses. This person must take initiative, have a positive attitude and enjoy interacting with customers.

Answer phones in a timely manner and with proper etiquette Assist customers in finding and selecting the right products Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using Point of Sale software Accurate Cash handling and register operations Maintain a clean and organized sales floor Stay up to date on product knowledge to more efficiently assist customers. Receive stock and conduct inventory counts Daily tasks would include selling parts, customer support and order entry, communicating with customers (through email, phone and face-to-face sales). Dedication to learning about our product lines and our vendors is extremely important. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will include opening, closing and Saturday shifts. Shared cleaning duties, as assigned Qualifications Ability to read, write, and perform basic math Basic computer skills are a must The ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift 50 lbs. Dependable transportation Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction Have a professional appearance Familiarity with a Point-of-Sale software is preferred i.e. Shopify Familiarity with truck / auto parts and inventory control desired but not required. Forklift experience is a plus. Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
