At Pinestraw Place, we're looking for an Assistant Manager to join our crew and help keep our landscape supply yard running strong. This role isn't about sitting behind a desk—it's about being hands-on, solving problems, serving customers, and keeping the day moving smoothly.
Every day brings something new:
one minute you're helping a homeowner figure out how much mulch they need, the next you're loading a contractor's truck with stone or making a delivery. What You'll Be Doing Helping with day-to-day operations so the yard stays organized, efficient, and welcoming. Supporting customers—whether they're picking up a bale of pine straw or loading trucks for a delivery. Training and working alongside team members to keep everything running on time. Operating equipment (skid steers, loaders, trucks, trailers) to load, deliver, and maintain materials. Keeping vehicles and equipment in top shape so they're ready when needed. No two days are alike; one day you're helping a family choose sod for their backyard, the next you're managing bulk deliveries for a contractor.Leadership:

If you'd rather be moving, lifting, and driving than sitting in a cubicle, this is the spot for you. We're Looking For Someone Who Brings energy and a good attitude to work every day. Has experience in retail or supply operations (landscape, auto parts, construction, etc.). Has some college education. Holds a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Can safely operate and maintain equipment, or is eager to learn. Business Hours of Operation (Possible Scheduled Hours):Monday-Friday:
7:30 AM - 5:00PM Saturday:
