Job Description
Sales RepresentativeMemphis, TNDirect Hire | Full-Time | 100% Onsite (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)Up to 15%
What You'll DoManage and grow an established portfolio of customer accounts across the United States.
Sell lumber and wood products while identifying opportunities to expand existing customer relationships.
Build strong partnerships with customers, mill personnel, transportation teams, and internal departments to ensure exceptional service.
Prepare quotations, discuss pricing, negotiate orders, and coordinate timely product delivery.
Develop long-term customer relationships while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and communication.
Work closely with mill operations to maximize profitability and meet customer expectations.
Participate in customer visits, mill visits, and industry trade shows as needed.
Collaborate with leadership to develop territory strategies and identify opportunities for business growth.
Support additional projects and business initiatives as assigned.
What You'll BringBachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of lumber sales experience with a lumber yard, lumber mill, forest products company, or building materials distributor.
Working knowledge of lumber products and the wood products industry.
Proven experience managing customer relationships and growing existing accounts.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
