Job Description
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Prospect, network, cold call, and build relationships with K-12 and Higher Education decision-makers throughout the Western territory.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiations and final close. Develop customized proposals, executive summaries, cover letters, pricing models, and RFP responses.
- Present service offerings and business solutions to C-level executives, boards, superintendents, and senior education stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to create pricing proformas and develop competitive service solutions.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and board meetings to generate new opportunities.
- Maintain Salesforce CRM records, sales pipeline activity, forecasting, and reporting.
- Travel throughout assigned territory to conduct in-person customer visits and strategic business development meetings (approximately 30%).

https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- 5+ years of business development or outside sales experience focused on Education (K-12 and/or Higher Education markets).
- 3+ years of experience developing customized proposals, executive summaries, RFP responses, and client presentations.
- 3+ years of experience presenting business solutions to executive leadership, boards, superintendents, or C-suite stakeholders.
- Experience owning the full sales cycle including prospecting, pricing strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Strong Excel skills with experience building pricing models, financial analyses, or sales proformas.
- Experience navigating complex organizations and multi-level stakeholder decision-making processes.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative sales skills with a hunter mentality.
- Facilities Management, Custodial Services, Food Services, Staffing, Aramark, Sodexo, Compass Group, ABM, SSC, Chartwells, Kelly Services, or similar experience.
- Existing relationships within Western-region school districts, universities, or education organizations.
- Salesforce CRM experience.
- Experience selling contracted services rather than products.
