A Sales Lead leads sales team that represents and sells products or services on behalf of a company. Recruits new customers, presents information to demonstrate product value and persuade buyers, negotiates prices, confirms sales agreements, and works to meet company sales goals. May train new sales representatives.
The Community & Sales Growth Lead is responsible for filling the studio. This person spends roughly twenty hours a week in the field — at coffee shops, apartment clubhouses, farmers markets, youth sports fields, corporate parks and community events — starting conversations with strangers, capturing their information, following up relentlessly, and closing them as members and inviting them for a workout. This is a field sales and community partnership role, not a front-desk or coaching role. The person in this seat does not wait for traffic. They generate it.
SWEAT440
provides a documented playbook, a partnership development process, a lead follow-up cadence, and a full event kit. The Growth Lead executes that playbook five days a week and owns the number that comes out of it.
THE CORE ACCOUNTABILITY
Thirty new members per month, produced through five community events per week and 150+ qualified leads per month, with 80% of those members still active at day 90.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES1.
Partnership Development — the Dream 150 Build and maintain a list of 150 target businesses, schools, apartment communities, and community organizations within a 10-minute drive of the studio (100 primary, 50 backup). Advance each target through the company's 13-step partnership acquisition process — social engagement, in-person visits with no ask, public promotion of the partner, decision-maker identification, value-first offer, and finally the request to host an event. Capture and record the property management company or parent organization for every target, so that a single successful partnership can be expanded across a portfolio. Maintain a live partnership tracker showing each target's current step, owner/manager contact, and next action. 2. Event Execution Plan, schedule, staff, and personally run a minimum of five qualified community events per week (approximately 21 per month), each four hours on site. Transport, set up, and break down the event kit: table, banner, signage, tablet, printed materials, and giveaways. Proactively approach approximately 18 people per hour on site. Initiate every conversation. Do not wait to be approached. Capture full contact information — name, mobile number, and email — from every interested person, and book them into a specific class time wherever possible. Photograph each event, thank the host business or property on site, and publish a recap post tagging the partner. 3. Lead Management & Follow-Up Enter every lead captured into the CRM the same day, tagged to its source event and partner. Contact every new lead within three hours of meeting them. Execute the standard follow-up cadence — touchpoints on days 0, 1, 3, 5 and 7 — with a minimum of three attempts across at least two channels before a lead is closed out. Maintain a clean, current, and accurate lead pipeline at all times. 4. Sales & Conversion Conduct intro consultations and membership presentations for leads the Growth Lead personally sourced. Close new memberships and intro packages, process agreements accurately, and collect payment information at the point of sale. Book each new member's second visit before they leave the building. Support the first 30 days of each member's experience to protect early retention. 5. Reporting & Administration Log all events, approaches, leads, and sales in the designated trackers within 72 hours, without exception. Attend a weekly 15-minute Tuesday number review with the Owner covering events, leads, members closed, partnership steps advanced, and event-gate status. Maintain the studio's community event calendar two to three weeks ahead. Perform approximately 30 minutes per day of social media activity — 15 minutes of morning engagement with partner accounts plus the daily event recap post. The Growth Lead does not own the studio's primary content calendar.
