Design Consultant / Sales Designer Sterling Closet Co. is growing, and we're looking for a motivated, personable, and design-minded Design Consultant / Sales Designer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with homeowners, has a natural eye for design, and knows how to turn a great client conversation into a successful sale. As a Design Consultant, you'll meet with homeowners in their homes, understand their needs and vision, design customized closet and storage solutions, present your recommendations, and guide the client through the process from consultation to signed agreement. What You'll Do Meet with homeowners in their homes to understand their needs, lifestyle, style preferences, and budget Measure and evaluate spaces to develop functional and attractive storage solutions Design customized closets, garages, pantries, home offices, mudrooms, and other storage spaces Create layouts, renderings, and presentations using design/CAD software Present designs, materials, finishes, and pricing to clients Build strong relationships and deliver a high-end, professional client experience Follow up consistently with prospects and open proposals Manage your sales pipeline from consultation through close Prepare accurate project information for the production and installation teams Work closely with Sterling Closet Co. to ensure a seamless transition from sale to installation Develop referral and repeat-business opportunities Represent the Sterling Closet Co. brand professionally in every client interaction What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is confident, personable, competitive, organized, and genuinely enjoys helping people improve their homes. Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following: In-home sales Interior design Closets or home organization Cabinetry or millwork Kitchen & bath Flooring, remodeling, or other home improvement Furniture or luxury home products Consultative or relationship-based sales You Should Be A strong communicator and confident presenter Comfortable meeting clients in their homes Comfortable discussing budgets, pricing, and investment Strong consultative sales and closing abilities Creative eye and understanding of space and functionality Organized and detail-oriented Self-motivated and comfortable working independently Comfortable learning design and CAD software Comfortable managing follow-up and your own sales pipeline Professional and reliable Able to travel to client appointments throughout the Dallas-area market Available for some evening and weekend appointments Previous closet or design experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person. Days:

Paid training and hands-on mentorship from an experienced design and sales professional. You'll learn Sterling Closet Co.'s products, design process, sales approach, client experience, and project workflow while working alongside an experienced professional. After 60

Days:

Commission-based compensation at 10-12% per sale , depending on the project.
