Outside Sales & Brand Development Representative Martian Mix | Greater Houston Area Martian Mix is a growing compost company looking for a motivated, personable, and creative individual to help grow our sales and build a lasting brand. This is primarily an outside sales position. You'll spend most of your time meeting potential customers, developing relationships, following up on opportunities, and winning business throughout Greater Houston. You'll also have the opportunity to help shape how Martian Mix looks, communicates, and connects with its customers. What you'll do Prospect and build relationships with land developers, grass farmers, golf courses, landscapers, nurseries, landscape supply yards, contractors, and other potential buyers. Make regular customer visits, introduce our products, provide quotes, and turn opportunities into orders. Develop repeat business through consistent follow-up and strong customer service. Track contacts, sales opportunities, and next steps. Help grow our social media presence with original photos, videos, product information, and customer stories. Contribute ideas for marketing materials, promotions, and brand development. Coordinate with operations to keep customer expectations and delivery commitments aligned. Who we're looking for A self-starter who enjoys meeting people and is comfortable initiating conversations and asking for the sale. Someone organized, dependable, and persistent who follows through without constant supervision. A creative thinker with a good eye for branding and a practical understanding of social media. A strong communicator who can represent Martian Mix professionally in person and online. Someone comfortable spending most of the workweek in the field throughout Greater Houston. Sales, marketing, landscaping, or related experience is helpful. Recent university graduates and candidates with transferable experience are encouraged to apply.
