With deep expertise in Managed Infrastructure Services, Application Modernization, and Industry-Specific Software Solutions, DXC modernizes, secures, and operates some of the world's most complex technology estates. About The Role The ServiceNow Pre-Sales & Solutions Consultant is a client-facing role responsible for helping customers translate business challenges into practical ServiceNow solutions. This individual will work closely with clients, sales executives, ServiceNow practice leadership, architects, and delivery teams to identify client needs, recommend appropriate solutions, shape opportunities, and develop high-quality proposals and solution approaches. The successful candidate will combine strong ServiceNow knowledge with business acumen, consultative skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients over time. This role is not simply about responding to RFPs or developing estimates; it is about understanding the client's business, advising them on how ServiceNow can help, and becoming a trusted advisor throughout the sales and solutioning lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Client Discovery & Advisory Lead and participate in client discovery sessions to understand business objectives, operational challenges, technology environments, and desired outcomes. Listen to client issues and translate business requirements into appropriate ServiceNow solutions and capabilities. Ask effective discovery questions to uncover underlying business needs rather than simply responding to stated technical requirements. Advise clients on ServiceNow capabilities, industry practices, platform strategy, and potential solution approaches. Help clients distinguish between immediate requirements and opportunities for longer-term platform transformation. Provide guidance on ServiceNow best practices during the pre-sales cycle, including platform architecture, implementation approaches, governance, adoption, integration, and ongoing platform management. Solution Development Develop solution approaches that align ServiceNow capabilities with client business and technology requirements. Collaborate with ServiceNow architects, delivery leaders, SMEs, and account teams to create scalable, supportable, and commercially viable solutions. Define high-level scope, assumptions, dependencies, staffing models, implementation approaches, timelines, and level-of-effort estimates. Identify potential risks, gaps, and dependencies early in the solutioning process and recommend approaches to address them. Balance client requirements with ServiceNow best practices and practical delivery considerations. Ensure solutions can be successfully transitioned from pre-sales into delivery. Pre-Sales Support Partner with sales teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle, from early qualification and discovery through proposal development, presentations, negotiations, and closure. Participate in client presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and solution reviews. Develop and contribute to statements of work, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, presentations, solution narratives, and estimates. Clearly articulate the business value of proposed ServiceNow solutions to both technical and executive audiences. Help identify opportunities to expand existing ServiceNow client relationships into additional workflows, products, or services. Support account planning by bringing platform knowledge and solution ideas to existing client relationships. Client Relationship Development Develop credible, long-term relationships with client stakeholders across business, technology, and executive organizations. Serve as a trusted ServiceNow advisor who clients can engage when considering new initiatives, challenges, or platform investments. Maintain relationships beyond individual pursuits to develop a deeper understanding of the client's business and ServiceNow roadmap. Proactively identify opportunities where additional ServiceNow capabilities could solve client problems or improve business outcomes. Work with account and delivery teams to maintain continuity between the sales, implementation, and ongoing client relationship. ServiceNow Practice Collaboration Maintain current knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, product roadmap, emerging capabilities, AI offerings, Now Assist, workflow automation, and relevant industry trends. Share lessons learned, reusable solution content, estimation models, and best practices across the ServiceNow practice. Help develop repeatable offerings and solution approaches based on recurring client needs. Work closely with delivery leadership to ensure proposed solutions are realistic, appropriately staffed, and capable of meeting client commitments. Provide feedback from the market to practice leadership regarding client demand, competitive activity, emerging use cases, and capability gaps. Who You Are Strong experience with the ServiceNow platform and familiarity with multiple ServiceNow workflows and product areas. Bachelors degree in related field Must be legally authorized to work in US without requiring sponsorship now nor in the future. Experience in ServiceNow consulting, pre-sales, solutioning, architecture, implementation, or advisory roles. Demonstrated ability to conduct client discovery and translate business challenges into technology solutions. Strong understanding of ServiceNow implementation best practices and platform strategy. Ability to develop high-level solution designs, implementation approaches, estimates, timelines, assumptions, and staffing requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive-level clients. Demonstrated ability to develop trusted client relationships. Ability to work collaboratively across sales, solutioning, architecture, and delivery organizations. Strong business judgment with an understanding of both client value and commercial considerations.
