This energetic role is perfect for someone passionate about hospitality, event planning, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will presenting our plans for a new social event space that local business community can benefit from generating leads for membership and booking events upon completion of new event spaces. This new role as a key liaison between clients and our venue, orchestrating seamless events that leave lasting impressions. Your enthusiasm, organizational prowess, and customer-focused mindset will help elevate our reputation for outstanding service and memorable occasions. This position offers a vibrant environment where creativity meets precision, ensuring every event is a success from start to finish. Duties Pre-Launch and current planning phase - build local leads database to present this new event space and go to all local networking events hosted by local Chamber to Business Organizations and public events. Present this new opportunity to all local business and stakeholders in the pre-launch phase. Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budgets, providing expert guidance on venue options, catering, and services Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize revenue while ensuring client satisfaction Upsell additional services such as décor, entertainment, or premium catering options to enhance event experiences Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets using event management software and CRM systems to ensure flawless execution Coordinate with culinary teams, vendors, and staff to manage setup, execution, and breakdown of events efficiently Manage client communication throughout the planning process, providing updates and addressing concerns proactively Oversee event marketing efforts to attract new clients and promote upcoming events through various channels Monitor managing event budgets closely to stay within financial parameters while delivering high-quality service Lead a team of hospitality staff or event assistants when necessary to ensure smooth operations during events Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for continuous improvement in service delivery Experience Proven experience in hospitality or events management, with a strong background in banquet sales or catering services Demonstrated skills in negotiation, upselling, and client communication within a hospitality or events setting Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with experience using event management software and CRM systems Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines Knowledge of managing event budgets, contracts, catering logistics, and guest services processes Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence and team leadership capabilities Familiarity with the hospitality industry standards and best practices for events management Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for hospitality meets your talent for organization!
