Job Description
- Generate commercial and residential window-film opportunities
- Build relationships with property managers, builders, contractors, business owners, dealerships, and fleet operators
- Conduct in-person prospecting, telephone outreach, email campaigns, networking, and referral development
- Visit customer locations and gather information for estimates
- Present proposals and consistently follow up on open opportunities
- Maintain accurate prospect, estimate, and sales records in the CRM system
- Coordinate pricing, scheduling, and project requirements with the Operations Manager
- Maintain recurring commercial, fleet, and dealership relationships
- Meet monthly activity, pipeline, and collected-revenue goals
- Represent Black Optix professionally throughout the local community Qualifications
- Outside sales, business development, automotive, construction, home-services, or B2B sales experience preferred
- Confident approaching businesses and speaking with decision-makers
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record
- Able to use email, spreadsheets, and customer-management tools
- Strong practical math skills
- Ability to take accurate field measurements
- Ability to calculate square footage and material requirements
- Ability to prepare accurate customer estimates
- Ability to calculate and evaluate job margins
- Understanding of how materials, labor, discounts, commissions, and other costs affect profitability
- Ability to follow established pricing and minimum-margin requirements
- Ability to identify when a quote requires management approval
- Ability to remain standing or walking for extended periods while visiting customer and job sites.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, with assistance when appropriate Schedule and Territory This is a full-time position serving Spring, The Woodlands, and the greater northern Houston area.
