Description

  • Generate contracts and BEO's in support of Catering Managers.
  • Support daily distribution of BEO's, reader boards and change logs.
  • Email correspondence directed by managers as needed.
  • Maintenance of computer data for Sales Department including updating and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and check requests.
  • Handles negotiations with meeting planners and generate Banquet Event Orders based on agreed contractual terms.
  • Maintain excellent working relationship from initial lead call through follow up solicitation and maintain contact with all support departments, including banquets and functions room departments until event conclusion.
  • Conduct property tours to promote facilities and services.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 1-2 years hotel experience preferred; front desk experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including leading and participating in formal presentations.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision and be a self-starter.
  • Marriott CI experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Qualifications
