Job Description

•This is NOT door to door sales• Job Overview The Sales Pro is responsible for generating and closing sales of storage buildings and related products within an assigned geographic territory. This role is focused on proactive, off-site customer engagement to drive revenue growth. The Sales Pro operates within a defined territory, using a Home Lot as an administrative base while leveraging multiple sales locations and channels to maximize performance. Compensation includes a base salary plus performance-based commission.
Primary Duty:
Sales & Customer Engagement The primary responsibility of the Sales Pro is to generate revenue through direct engagement with customers and prospective customers at their homes, businesses, and job sites.
This includes:
In-home consultations Job site and territory visits Contractor and B2B meetings Community and municipal outreach Off-site contract generation Sales activity away from the Home Lot is a normal and expected part of the role.
Activity Expectations:
Approximately 3-5 in-home consultations per week (adjusted for territory and seasonality) Ongoing prospecting and territory engagement Consistent documentation of customer interactions within CRM The Home Lot is intended as a base of operations and meeting location—not the primary source of revenue generation. Lead & Pipeline Management Manage inbound and self-generated leads Schedule and conduct consultations Maintain accurate and timely CRM documentation Advance opportunities through defined pipeline stages Develop and execute self-directed prospecting efforts Territory Development Build and maintain relationships with contractors, HOAs, municipalities, realtors, and small businesses Generate referrals, repeat business, and new opportunities Participate in community outreach and networking Sales Execution & Pricing Discipline Sell across all inventory within the assigned territory Coordinate inventory between locations when appropriate Maintain pricing discipline aligned with company standards Support achievement of average sales price (ASP) and margin targets Use of Sales Tools Leverage modern tools to support and enhance customer engagement, including: Virtual consultations Phone-based sales Chat and digital communication tools E-commerce support These tools are intended to facilitate and extend off-site selling activity. Lot Utilization & Customer Accessibility Use the Home Lot for administrative work and scheduled customer meetings Assist walk-in customers when present Process customer payments and ensure timely handling Sales Pros are expected to remain accessible during business hours through: Scheduled appointments Phone and digital communication tools Prompt CRM follow-up Compensation Base salary providing stability across seasonal fluctuations Commission tied to production and pricing performance Work Environment & Requirements Field-based role requiring regular travel within assigned territory Combination of independent work and collaboration with internal teams Ability to manage time, territory, and sales pipeline effectively
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
