We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Consultant and Sales/Office Assistant to represent our CDJR lineup. In this role, you will guide customers through the entire car-buying process—from welcoming them on the lot to handing over the keys. Whether a customer is looking for a rugged Jeep Wrangler, a powerful Ram 1500, a classic Dodge muscle car, or a family-ready Chrysler Pacifica, you will be the product expert who helps them make the right choice.
SALES REP KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome showroom and lot guests warmly, assess their driving needs, and guide them toward the right new or pre-owned CDJR vehicle. Maintain deep product knowledge regarding vehicle features, trim levels, optional packages, and Stellantis technology (like Uconnect systems). Conduct enthusiastic, informative vehicle walkarounds and accompany customers on test drives. Deliver comprehensive, transparent pricing presentations and explain available financing, leasing, and trade-in options. Follow up diligently with internet leads, phone inquiries, and previous buyers to build a robust personal pipeline. Collaborate with Finance Managers (F&I) and Sales Managers to structure deals smoothly and maximize customer satisfaction. Coordinate vehicle prep and conduct thorough final deliveries, ensuring the customer understands their new vehicle's features before driving off. Consistently meet or exceed monthly unit sales goals, gross profit targets, and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
SALES ASSISTANT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Communication:
Answer phones, reply to emails, route incoming leads, and schedule client appointments or meetings.
Data Management:
Input new customer data, update records, and manage systems like a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
Sales Support:
Prepare sales reports, compile presentation materials, and organize product samples or literature.
Office Organization:
Maintain a clean workspace, order office supplies, and handle travel or calendar arrangements for sales staff Other duties to be assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience:
1+ years of automotive sales experience is highly preferred (experience with CDJR or domestic brands is a major plus, but we will train the right retail/hospitality professional). Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, resilient, and driven to succeed in a performance-based environment. Proficient with dealership CRM systems and digital follow-up tools. Professional appearance, demeanor, and a strong work ethic. Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and evenings.
