Albans, Vermont, as a full-time Equipment Salesperson. Responsibilities Promote and sell agricultural, light construction, and other equipment to new and existing customers. Develop and maintain relationships with customers by understanding their needs and recommending suitable products. Demonstrate equipment features and answer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, and credit terms. Prepare and present price quotes, sales contracts, and order forms; negotiate contract details and payment terms. Follow up with clients after sales to provide support and resolve any issues. Identify prospective customers through business directories, referrals, networking, and participation in industry events. Conduct cold calls and on-site visits to current and potential customers. Monitor market trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings. Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining sales records, preparing reports, and managing expense accounts. Coordinate equipment set-up and deliveries with the service department. Train customers employees on the operation and maintenance of new equipment as needed. Attend training sessions as required by vendors and the company. Maintain a clean and professional work area and company vehicle, including daily call logs and mileage records.
