Position Summary The Vacation Rental and Sales Support Specialist facilitates all phases of short- and long-term rental contracts—from initial guest inquiry through the reservation process, guest stay, and departure, with a primary focus in administration and follow up. This role requires broad knowledge of SCH's service offerings and a proactive approach to recommending additional services to guests and owners. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, a customer-service mindset, and familiarity with the Stowe area rental market. This is a sales and support role and also collaborates closely with Accounting, and Property Care teams. Key Responsibilities Sales Reservations Respond to incoming leads via phone, email, text, and LiveChat; log and track inquiries in the Lead system Convert online bookings, phone reservations, and chats into executed contracts Draft and distribute short-term, seasonal, and long-term rental contracts Sales Support Process guest payments and reservation details Assist sales team with seasonal rental contract follow up Review and resolve weekly Balance-due and No Contract reports, as directed by the Sales Manager Communicate with owners as needed to move reservations forward Conduct property showings for prospective guests as needed Support sales manager with new owner onboarding as directed Assist sales manager in organizing and responding to guest reviews Draft and maintain SOPs for Vacation Rental Sales processes Support the sales team in meeting quarterly and annual targets Property Care and Operations Support Document and relay guest/owner concerns to the appropriate team Input maintenance and housekeeping requests into Breezeway property care platform Assist in resolving level 1 guest issues by coordinating communication and next steps Provide front desk coverage as needed General Support Stay informed on rental market trends, regulations, and local factors affecting the business Additional duties to support overall business goals Schedule Expectations This role requires 18-20 hours per week Saturday availability is required Remaining hours are flexible and can be scheduled Monday-Friday based on candidate availability and business needs Some seasonal flexibility may be expected during peak periods (holidays, foliage season, etc.) Qualifications Experience in vacation rental, hospitality, or property management preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize and shift between tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; able to quickly learn vacation rental software (e.g., Streamline and Breezeway) Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team Positive, kind, and solutions-oriented attitude
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 - 20.0 per week
