In this energetic role, you will engage directly with clients in their homes to provide expert advice on window treatments, lighting, and remodeling solutions. Your enthusiasm and technical skills will help transform living spaces, ensuring each customer finds the perfect design that matches their style and needs. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to leverage your sales expertise, creative flair, and technical proficiency to deliver exceptional results while building lasting client relationships. Duties Conduct in-home consultations to assess clients' window treatment, lighting, and remodeling needs, providing tailored design solutions. Utilize SketchUp, CAD, and other design software to create detailed layout plans and visual presentations for clients. Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos, emphasizing high-end sales opportunities and upselling additional services or products. Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, understanding client preferences, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Negotiate pricing and deal terms confidently to close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for product ordering, stocking, and maintenance of inventory to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain accurate records using CRM systems for client management, sales tracking, and follow-up activities. Assist with merchandising efforts by showcasing products effectively in clients' homes and ensuring proper stock levels. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, managing POS transactions accurately, and handling cash or credit payments responsibly. Support remodeling projects by collaborating with contractors on installation timelines, construction details, and fixture maintenance. Experience Proven experience in outside sales or interior design with a focus on high-end or custom window treatments. Experience in negotiation, deal closing, upselling techniques, and customer relationship building within retail or construction sales environments. . Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), POS systems, CRM platforms, and merchandising tools is a plus. Excellent communication skills coupled with organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently. Basic math skills for measurements, pricing calculations, and retail math applications are required.
