Phone & In Person Sales Specialist - Photography Studio
Job Description
Client Sales Specialist - Phone & In-Person Sales Part-Time moving to Full-Time | $18/Hour Base
+ Bonuses
+ Commission At Breshears Professional Photography, we have been creating family portraits for more than 25 years. We believe there is real value in having portraits of the people you love displayed in your home. We're looking for someone who believes in that too—but we also need someone who can sell. This is a unique full-time position combining phone sales and in-person consultative sales. You need to be comfortable building relationships with people while also asking for commitment, talking about money, handling objections, and closing the sale. What This Role Really Is Our clients have already expressed interest in participating in one of our portrait projects. Your job begins on the phone. You'll connect with warm leads, discover why having a portrait created matters to them, explain the experience, answer their questions, work through objections, and ask them to book. You'll also ask for and collect the required deposit that secures their appointments. So, while being warm and personable matters, this isn't simply customer service or appointment setting. We need someone who is comfortable asking for a commitment and asking for money. The other part of this position happens after the portrait session. You'll meet with families for their View & Order appointment, guide them through their images, and help them select portraits and artwork for their home. We aren't looking for an order taker. We need someone who can listen, understand what matters to the client, make confident recommendations, discuss money comfortably, work through hesitation, and ask for the sale.
You Will Thrive Here If You:
Genuinely enjoy selling and closing Build trust quickly on the phone and face-to-face Are comfortable asking for money and financial commitment Can hear an objection without immediately backing away Know how to ask good questions and listen to the answers Can confidently make recommendations instead of simply presenting options Are warm and personable while still being able to lead the conversation Are polished, professional, and composed Can follow a proven sales process and script while still sounding natural Are coachable and willing to practice and improve Take ownership of your numbers and results Are motivated by goals, bonuses, and commission What You'll Be DoingPhone Sales & Booking Contacting warm leads who have expressed interest in our portrait projects Conducting phone consultations and building rapport Discovering why having a portrait created matters to the client Explaining our portrait experience and building value Answering questions and handling objections Asking for the appointment and closing the booking Collecting the required deposit to secure the appointments Following up with prospective clients Meeting weekly booking and conversion goals In-Person Sales Leading View & Order appointments after portrait sessions Creating a warm, elevated client experience Guiding clients through their images Recommending wall portraits and other artwork with confidence Discussing pricing and payment options Helping clients work through objections or indecision Asking for the sale and closing Meeting closing and average-order goals What We're Looking For Previous sales experience is strongly preferred. If you've been successful in fine jewelry, furniture, bridal, automotive, luxury retail, aesthetics, photography sales, inside sales, phone sales, or another consultative/high-ticket sales environment , many of those skills will transfer well. We're less concerned about the exact industry you came from than whether you can: Connect. Ask questions. Build value. Handle objections. Make recommendations. Ask for money. Ask for commitment. Close. If what you really enjoy is customer service and helping people, but you aren't comfortable asking someone to buy, this probably isn't the right position for you. But if you genuinely care about people and enjoy the challenge and satisfaction of closing a sale, we'd like to talk with you. Compensation & Schedule $18/hour base Bonuses based on booking performance Commission on in-person portrait sales Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week Onsite position Some Saturdays required About Breshears Professional Photography Our mission is: We illustrate the unique identity and intrinsic worth of every individual. We believe the portrait that matters to a family today can become absolutely priceless to them years from now. That's also why we don't believe good sales means pressuring people. Good sales means listening, understanding what matters to someone, building value, making a confident recommendation, and then being willing to ask them to move forward. We're looking for someone who can combine heart with confidence, connection with closing, and service with results. If that's you, we'd love to meet you.
