Job Summary A growing company in the Kent, WA area is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop new business, strengthen customer relationships, and drive revenue growth within an assigned territory. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a motivated field sales professional who enjoys meeting customers face-to-face, building long-term partnerships, and managing the full sales process from prospecting through close. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Prospect for new customers through networking, referrals, industry research, trade shows, and other business development activities.
- Conduct in-person customer visits, product presentations, consultations, and solution-based sales discussions.
- Prepare quotes, estimates, proposals, bids, contracts, and related sales documentation.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, needs analysis, negotiations, closing, follow-up, and account growth.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, forecasts, expenses, and performance results. Compensation and Benefits
- $65,000 to $80,000 base salary per year, depending on experience.

- Develop new business and grow sales within an assigned territory.
- Manage customer relationships through in-person visits, follow-up, and consultative selling.
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and sales documentation to support customer purchasing decisions.
- Monitor customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity to identify revenue opportunities.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in outside sales, territory sales, account management, business development, or a related customer-facing sales role.
- Proven ability to build relationships, identify customer needs, and close sales opportunities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and confident approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with customers, decision-makers, and business partners.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and consultative selling skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage a schedule, and prioritize multiple sales opportunities.
- Strong organization, time management, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend effective solutions.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally throughout the assigned territory. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling products or services in a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or business-to-business environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales tracking tools.
- Experience preparing estimates, bids, proposals, contracts, or related sales documentation.
- Familiarity with trade shows, networking events, referral selling, and territory-based business development.
