Job Summary We are seeking a Territory Sales Representative for a direct hire opportunity serving North and Northwest Washington. This outside sales role is ideal for a self-motivated B2B sales professional who enjoys being in the field, meeting customers face to face, developing new business, and building long-term customer relationships across industrial and commercial environments. This opportunity offers a strong blend of stability, independence, and uncapped earning potential. You will represent industrial services and equipment solutions for customers in manufacturing, maritime, municipal, commercial, facilities, construction, and related sectors. The environment is collaborative, customer-focused, and supported by knowledgeable internal technical teams that help sales representatives develop effective solutions, quotes, and proposals. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new business throughout the assigned North and Northwest Washington territory through prospecting, networking, referrals, and in-person outreach.
  • Build, maintain, and grow relationships with existing customers across manufacturing, maritime, municipal, commercial, and industrial accounts.
  • Conduct customer site visits to understand operational needs, identify equipment and service opportunities, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Partner with internal technical teams to develop quotes, proposals, equipment recommendations, and service solutions.
  • Manage sales opportunities from initial conversation through quote, follow-up, negotiation, and close.
  • Maintain an active pipeline, plan territory activity independently, and drive growth in territory revenue and gross margin. Compensation and Benefits
  • Direct hire, full-time opportunity.
  • Base salary: $65,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • On-target earnings: $100,000 to $160,000+.
  • Uncapped commission.
  • Monthly vehicle allowance plus mileage reimbursement.

  • Field-based schedule with approximately 75% of time spent in territory.
  • Territory includes North and Northwest Washington. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Develop and execute territory sales activity to grow revenue and gross margin.
  • Manage new business development, customer retention, quoting, follow-up, and closing activity.
  • Conduct customer site visits and identify industrial service and equipment solution opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver accurate recommendations and customer-focused proposals.
  • 3 to 5 years of outside sales, territory sales, account management, or B2B business development experience.
  • Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to manage a field-based territory independently and prioritize sales activity effectively.
  • Comfortable selling to industrial, commercial, municipal, manufacturing, construction, facilities, or related customer groups.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to understand customer needs and present practical solutions.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and accountable, with a strong follow-up mindset.
  • Ability to spend approximately 75% of time in the assigned territory. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling industrial services, equipment, maintenance solutions, or technical products.
  • Existing knowledge of North and Northwest Washington business markets.
  • Experience working with manufacturing, maritime, municipal, facilities, construction, or commercial accounts.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, pipeline management, and structured territory planning.
