$20.00/hr About the Job Express Employment Professionals is partnering with an established corporate document research and filing services company in Olympia, WA, to hire a part-time Sales Representative . This is a newly created position focused primarily on helping the company grow its client base through outbound sales and business development. This person will reach out to businesses, introduce the company's services, identify potential needs, and help build relationships with new clients. This is an entry-level sales opportunity , so previous professional sales experience is not required. We're looking for someone who is personable, comfortable picking up the phone and calling businesses, willing to learn, and motivated to help generate new opportunities. This position will also serve as backup for the company's Document Services Specialist, assisting with administrative and document-processing responsibilities when needed. Key Responsibilities Make outbound calls to businesses and prospective clients Introduce the company's document research, filing, retrieval, and compliance-related services Identify prospective clients and appropriate contacts or decision-makers Ask questions to understand potential client needs and identify opportunities Follow up with prospective clients by phone and email Track contacts, conversations, leads, and follow-up activities Build relationships with prospective and new clients Learn the company's services and confidently explain them to potential customers Assist with administrative and document-processing responsibilities as needed Process and track client document requests when providing backup coverage Conduct basic online business and public-record research Scan, organize, proofread, and track documents Communicate with existing clients regarding requests and status updates as needed Make occasional local courthouse or state agency runs to file or retrieve documents Assist with incoming mail and other general office responsibilities What You Bring Comfortable picking up the phone and making outbound calls to businesses Friendly, professional, and confident communication skills Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative Comfortable hearing "no" and continuing to make calls and develop new opportunities Strong organization and follow-through Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills Ability to learn new services, systems, and processes Comfortable following established step-by-step procedures Basic computer skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a small team Previous customer service, administrative, retail, hospitality, or sales experience is helpful Previous professional sales experience is not required Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required for occasional local courthouse and state agency runs
