You will visit music teachers weekly for the purpose of selling, repairing and working with musical instruments and supplies. Some of the key roles of a School Service Representative include: Makes regular visits to schools to provide educational support and work closely with the Music Teacher and their students. Maintains knowledge base for the schools that are called on, product lines carried and the selling features of each, and in particular sales features. Responsible for building customer relationships and growth within the sales territory as well as adding additional accounts to the territory. Set up program display preparations for rental programs and in school clinics and assist with organizing the summer repair schedule. Sells the company, exclusive product lines, broad coverage, and self on every call to the music director and the influential school and community factors. Listens to customer complaints, examines questionable repairs, and resolves problems to restore and promote good public relations by communicating with them on a regular basis to develop trust and build long-lasting relationships. Maintains a personal vehicle to call on assigned territory weekly making sure it is maintained and kept in good running order and has proper insurance on it. We are seeking candidates with a strong background in music who are relationship driven and service oriented. They also need to be educationally supportive with an emphasis on connecting with the community. They should have sales experience with an emphasis on highly organized territory management.
