Job Description
We are looking for an Inside sales customer service representative to join our team at our Madison location. About us Lincoln Contractors Supply is a family owned company founded in 1956 by Alfred Knief and Wilmer Guenther. We are currently under the third generation of family leadership with Aaron Knief as President. LCS has grown to operate 11 locations throughout the state of Wisconsin. We lead the industry in retail sales, service, and rental of construction equipment and supplies.
INSIDE SALES CSR PRIMARY FUNCTION
A successful candidate will handle customer sales, rental questions, and orders via phone or walk-in, as well as maintain a neat appearance, work area, and showroom. This position reports to the Branch Manager for daily assignments.DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Maintain prompt, courteous, and professional customer service. Take in person, telephone, and digital orders, coordinate delivery, and process shipments. Explain fees and policies of the rental process. Use merchandising fundamentals to prepare product displays. Keep up to date pricing on showroom floor. Assist the outside sales staff with fulfilling customer orders. Alert purchasing of low and out of stock product. Perform regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory. Assist in loading and unloading customer equipment. May assume other responsibilities as assigned. Some heavy lifting, climbing, and carrying required. May be asked to make unscheduled deliveries. Attend safety, departmental, and company meetings as required. This position will require proficient computer skills for maintaining accurate customer/vendor relations. The candidate must also have strong inter-personal skills to maintain open communication with all internal and external customers. Pay range is based on experience. Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:30pm.Job Type:
