Job Description

A good business development conversation starts with understanding what a prospective client needs. As a Business Development Representative, you'll research business accounts, make professional outreach, qualify potential clients, and create opportunities for the sales team. This full-time role is on-site in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on a regular weekday schedule. It offers structured training in B2B sales, client communication, and pipeline management, with a path toward account management, senior business development, or team leadership. How you'll build the pipeline Research prospective business accounts and identify people to contact. Conduct outbound calls, email outreach, and appropriate digital follow-up. Ask questions to understand commercial needs and qualify leads. Schedule meetings or demonstrations for senior sales colleagues. Keep prospect activity, client relationships, and sales opportunities accurately recorded in the CRM. Work with sales, marketing, and account management colleagues, using coaching and results against your targets to improve your approach. You'll be responsible for consistent, thoughtful lead generation. That means preparing for conversations, following up when you say you will, and recognizing when an opportunity is ready to move forward. Training, earnings and next steps Full training will help you learn our outreach process, CRM, qualification standards, and approach to professional client conversations. You'll have measurable goals and feedback to help you strengthen your prospecting, account development, and relationship-building skills. The role includes a $15,000 target annual performance incentive , paid monthly based on measures such as qualified meetings, sales opportunities created, pipeline contribution, and agreed activity targets. As your skills develop, this role can provide a foundation for broader responsibility in account management. What you'll bring You communicate clearly, enjoy learning about businesses, and can stay organized while managing several conversations at different stages. You're comfortable working toward targets, open to coaching, and willing to take ownership of your follow-up. The office is in Waukesha , within reach of candidates across the wider Milwaukee metro.
