Job Description

Position Summary The BDC Manager provides leadership for the dealership's Business Development Center, overseeing lead management, customer communications, appointment generation, CRM processes, and team performance to maximize sales opportunities and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead daily BDC operations and assigned team members. Establish appointment, response-time, show-rate, and conversion expectations. Monitor inbound and outbound calls, emails, text messages, and internet leads. Oversee recruiting, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management. Ensure timely, accurate follow-up throughout the customer lifecycle. Collaborate with Sales Managers, Marketing, and dealership leadership. Resolve escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally. Operational Responsibilities Conduct team meetings, call reviews, and performance evaluations. Monitor CRM activity, lead distribution, and follow-up compliance. Analyze appointment volume, show rates, conversion, and source performance. Ensure accurate customer records and adherence to dealership processes. Support marketing campaigns, manufacturer programs, and sales events. Leadership Responsibilities Build a culture of accountability, responsiveness, integrity, and teamwork. Develop employees through coaching, feedback, and ongoing training. Drive continuous improvement in customer engagement and lead conversion. Promote professional, customer-focused communication practices. Compliance Responsibilities Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer requirements, privacy standards, telephone and electronic communication requirements, consumer protection laws, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Automotive BDC and lead-management operations CRM reporting and performance analysis Appointment-setting and customer engagement strategies Coaching and performance management Professional communication and conflict resolution Dealership management and communication systems Qualifications Minimum of three years of automotive BDC, internet sales, or dealership sales experience, including supervisory or team-lead responsibilities. Valid driver's license and insurable driving record required.
Pay:
$7,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
