The Showroom Manager has primary responsibility for driving sales and sales volume while managing the staff, operations, and financial performance of the showroom and representing Baker Interiors Group Ltd. at the highest level within the marketplace. The manager is expected to maintain an active presence on the sales floor, frequently work directly with clients, and develop client and designer relationships alongside the Sales Associates. This responsibility also includes effective supervision of the administrative and sales staff, adherence to company policies and procedures, and attainment of the showroom's profitability and financial objectives. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven success leading teams toward maximum sales productivity. The candidate will be highly skilled in sales leadership, human resources, finance, IT management, design, and customer engagement. Additionally, the candidate will demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the team. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Financial Performance- Drive sales and sales volume to consistently meet and exceed the showroom sales plan.
- Maintain an active selling presence by frequently working directly with clients alongside Sales Associates, particularly on high-value, complex, or time-sensitive opportunities.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with designers, clients, and key accounts to generate new business, increase repeat business, and expand showroom sales volume.
- Review sales activity, open quotes, pipelines, and follow-up regularly; coach Sales Associates on relationship development, closing opportunities, and achieving individual and showroom goals.
- Participate in annual budget planning process.
- Oversee and approve bi-weekly payroll reporting.
- Monitor all showroom expenses. Approve invoices for showroom expenses.
- Manage all product inventories and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Review staff expense reports prior to forwarding them to the Executive Office. 2. Sales and Administrative Staff Management Determine and maintain the appropriate level of sales staff to effectively service the customer base.
- Recruit new sales staff additional sales associates are approved by your supervisor.
- Conduct weekly sales meeting with entire sales staff.
- Identify training needs and provide training for Sales Associates when necessary. 3. Showroom Operations
- Comply with and implement all showroom operational policies and procedures.
- both freight and local receiver as point of contact.
- Monitor staff performance with respect to customer service.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS 1.
Supervisory Relationships:
Reports to the Vice President- Showrooms 2.

Sales Associates Sales Assistants/Client Services Associates 3.Organizational relationships:
Daily contact with all members of the Showroom staff- especially with important corporate policies and updates Daily contact with showroom designated Regional Account Coordinator Daily contact with customers Daily contact with vendors and vendor staff Frequent contact with staff at other Baker Showrooms, Executive Office, manufacturing plants, etc.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Previous management experience is necessary. Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience is required, and basic knowledge of furniture is preferred. Strong IT and management Software programs; Extensive Microsoft Office Suite Used. Proficient in POS and Oracle systems- used daily.
