• The Sales Supervisor is responsible for a full range of activities associated with selling and servicing a diverse technical territory.

The account base for this position is comprised of aerospace, primary metal, automotive, heavy equipment, and general engineering. Collaboration with distribution varies from large integrators to traditional local and national organizations. Responsibilities include working closely with Saint-Gobain Product Managers, Application Engineers, Distributor/Integrator Partners, and Customer Service. The candidate will represent products from all business units within the Saint-Gobain Abrasives offering. Key measures of performance are sales revenue, relationship building, proposing, implementing sales growth programs, and uncovering new opportunities

• This position requires a person who is highly motivated, persistent, creative, personable and a team player who can succeed with limited direction.

A thorough understanding of needs and value-based selling is critical as is a solid background in Conventional Bonded (Precision and Rough), Superabrasives and Coated. Additionally, a strong background in Creepfeed Grinding is preferable for position. The incumbent should have proven sales and marketing skills, an ability to communicate effectively and problem-solve efficiently. Strong time management is essential and proven analytical, negotiation and organizational skills are necessary. A Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft office, web applications, CRM systems and other forms of data analysis is necessary.
