SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, manages the Sales Center Customer Service Representatives, other similar employees, and their work. Develops, manages, and delivers support services to our sales force. Responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of a team of sales center customer service representatives.
JOB DUTIES FOR USE IN THE MARKET DISTRIBUTION CENTER SUPPORT ROLES ONLY
Plans, directs, supervises, and evaluates work flow. Provides customer support including, order processing, advising customers of product shortages, expected delivery dates, and price changes. Recognizes and recommends operational improvements. Responsible for the day-to-day application of organizational policies and procedures. Manages Virtual inventory for sales office, including the weekly maintenance of inventory levels and cost differences. Responsible for all Inventory and Expense Pcard purchase activities and reconciliation in expense software. Coordinates work activities to achieve the volume expected to meet operational requirements. May make hiring decisions and conduct performance appraisals. May have responsibility for more than one team. May approve special price concessions, quotes, bid allowances, or adjustments. Assists customers and suppliers to resolve order problems. Manages daily incoming freight at cross docks for deliveries. Manages DOT compliance. Monitoring of Daily Management Review (DMR). Responsible for safety compliance and audit. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or the equivalent combination.
