Scheduling Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

The Scheduling Supervisor position is a professional position that requires close interactions with customers and suppliers through scheduling and sales functions to support the Risser's Poultry brand. There is significant interaction with the Transportation Team and Handling Services Team. The position oversees the activities of scheduling including fowl removal, pullet movement, handling / transportation team deployment, changes, and all associated communications with customers, suppliers, and vendors regarding schedule updates. The Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for maintenance of the internal master schedule. The Customer Account Representative position reports to this position. The Scheduling Supervisor reports directly report to the Sales Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES 2.1

Oversee scheduling functions for fowl removal, pullet movement and customer engagement. Provide near term direction for the operations team and Customer Account Representative in industry best practices. 2.2 Communicate directly with customers, suppliers and vendors relating to scheduling and sales. Also, oversee the support of these activities from the Customer Account Representative. 2.3 Lead the communication of schedule changes and target goals to the company's partners and relevant stakeholders. 2.4 Develop and refine the processes and automation of schedule and change systems. 2.5 Seek opportunities for new business by increasing business with current customers as well as new customers. This will be done by phone, email, and personal interactions with customers. 2.6 Provide accurate and specific job estimates when requested by customers. This position owns this process coordination with job specific insight provided by the operations team. 2.7 Oversee the scheduling of flock testing as needed to meet the regulatory needs of the fowl processing plant, live bird market distributor and other governmental / regulatory agencies. 2.8 Fill in for routine sales and scheduling activities in times of transition, vacations or extended absences of Customer Account Representative or Sales Manager. 2.9 Attend industry meetings to keep current on emerging issues, programs, policies, governmental regulations, health issues and new products and technologies. 2.10 Communicate regularly with the Operations Team, Production Manager and Sales Manager to keep them up to date on current issues and trends as they relate to the schedule and customers. This would include regularly scheduled one-on-one meetings with the Sales Manager. 2.11 Provide the Production Team with consistent communication regarding scheduling changes as well as relevant customer information to the Production Manager to oversee a synchronized approach to sales functions. 2.12 Manage all damage incidents in relation to

customers and facilitate a timely resolution. 2.13 Understand and assist in job invoice reviewing and approval in the absence of the Sales Manager. 2.14 Perform any other duties relating to scheduling, sales, and related functions as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
