About the Company Full Circle Recovery Services is an outpatient treatment center dedicated to making a real difference in Dayton and its surrounding areas. With a personalized approach to care, we focus on addressing the individuals' unique needs of those struggling with addiction. Our programs are designed to help clients overcome life's challenges, eliminate barriers, and combat the stigma surrounding their addiction. Position Summary Under the supervision of the Billing Manager, the Pre-Authorization Administrator will play a pivotal role in managing all pre-authorizations for services intended to be billed by the company. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities Obtain and process required pre-authorizations for Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) treatment services. Submit and track pre-authorization requests with insurance providers using multiple platforms (Excel, EMR, e-fax) to ensure timely approvals. Follow up with payers regarding pending or incomplete pre-authorization requests. Identify trends or issues contributing to denied or delayed pre-authorizations and recommend process improvements to reduce denials. Communicate relevant pre-authorization updates, concerns, or requirements to their direct supervisor and Clinical Director as appropriate. Maintain accurate documentation related to pre-authorization activity in accordance with company policies and payer requirements. Assists with processing requests for client records from outside agencies. Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
