Commission-based with bonus opportunities; no fixed base salary About the Role Solar Flare Inc. is looking for a motivated and confident Sales Closer to connect with homeowners, understand their energy needs, and guide qualified customers through the solar sales process. Solar sales experience is preferred, but we are also open to proven sales professionals from roofing, construction, home improvement, or similar industries who are willing to learn and can adapt quickly. This opportunity is best suited for someone who is comfortable generating leads, speaking directly with homeowners, following up consistently, and working toward performance-based goals. Responsibilities Generate new residential solar leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals, social media, community events, home shows, and other approved methods Speak with homeowners to understand their energy needs and determine whether solar may be a suitable option Explain solar products, installation processes, and estimated project timelines clearly and accurately Guide qualified customers through the sales process and finalise contracts Maintain accurate prospect and customer information in the company's sales system Follow up consistently with leads and build strong customer relationships Provide professional and responsive customer service Collaborate with the team on sales and lead-generation strategies Door-to-door prospecting is a required part of this position. Qualifications Previous sales and closing experience Solar sales experience preferred but not required Experience in roofing, construction, home improvement, or a related field is an advantage Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Comfortable approaching and speaking with homeowners Self-motivated, organised, and consistent with follow-ups Able to learn solar products and sales processes quickly High school diploma or equivalent preferred Spanish-speaking ability is a plus Available to start as soon as possible is preferred Compensation and Support Uncapped commission Performance-based bonus opportunities Typical commission of approximately $3,000-$7,000 per completed deal, depending on system size, sun hours, and applicable company terms New sales representative training bonus of up to $4,000, subject to eligibility and programme requirements Online sales training, mentorship, and ongoing support Flexible schedule Mileage reimbursement where applicable Referral programme Opportunities for advancement based on performance Actual earnings will vary based on individual performance, completed sales, system specifications, and other applicable factors.
