The person in this position will speak with prospective customers, identify their solar-energy needs, explain available solutions, address questions and guide qualified prospects through the sales process. The ideal candidate has strong communication, follow-up and closing skills and is comfortable working in a performance-focused sales environment. Responsibilities Speak with prospective customers by phone and through scheduled appointments. Explain solar products, services, financing options and the general installation process. Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solar solutions. Follow up with interested prospects in a timely and professional manner. Address customer questions and sales objections. Prepare and present accurate proposals using company-approved information. Maintain organized records of customer conversations and sales activity. Work toward individual and team sales goals. Follow all company procedures and applicable sales and consumer-protection requirements. Participate in training, coaching and sales meetings. Qualifications Previous sales experience is preferred. Solar, home-improvement, roofing, automotive, insurance or other high-ticket sales experience is a plus. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to build trust and close sales. Professional, dependable and results-oriented. Comfortable using customer relationship management systems and basic office technology. Able to work full-time from the Fort Lauderdale office. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Compensation Candidates may be considered for one of the following compensation structures, depending on the employment agreement and applicable wage requirements: $500 per week base compensation plus uncapped commission; or Commission-based compensation with a higher commission structure. Commission amounts vary based on completed sales, applicable commission terms and individual performance.
